This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies go4shop.fi uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They allow the site to remember your actions, such as the items in your shopping cart, and to keep you signed in while you move between pages.
2. Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required for the store to work and are set without consent, because the service cannot be provided without them:
- woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart, wp_woocommerce_session_* – keep your shopping cart and checkout session; they are session cookies or last up to two days.
- go4shop_cookie_consent – remembers the choice you made in the cookie banner so that it is not shown again; stored for 180 days.
- WordPress login and security cookies – only set if you create an account and sign in, or for our staff in the administration area.
3. Functional cookies
Some settings you choose while browsing, such as the last used product filters or sorting, may be stored in your browser so that the store behaves consistently. These are not used to profile you.
4. Analytics and marketing cookies
Analytics and marketing cookies are only used if you accept them in the cookie banner. If you choose Necessary Only, no analytics or advertising cookies are set by us. Where such tools are activated, they help us to measure how the store is used and to see whether an advertisement led to a purchase; the categories and providers in use are listed in our Privacy Policy.
5. Third-party services
Certain services we rely on may set their own cookies when you use them: the payment service provider during checkout (for fraud prevention and to complete the transaction) and our spam-protection service for comment and contact forms. These providers process the data as described in their own privacy notices.
6. How to change or withdraw your choice
You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting the cookies for go4shop.fi in your browser settings; the cookie banner will then appear again on your next visit and you can make a new choice. All common browsers also let you block or delete cookies in general. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent the shopping cart and checkout from working.
